- Spokane Police released body cam video of a November 7th, 2015 incident in which officers shot and wounded a knife-wielding man at a gas station.
Officers responded to numerous calls of a man with a knife attempting to break into cars and encountered 22-year old Tyler Randant standing in the middle of Division Street near Cataldo. When Randant ran towards a gas station and tried to open the door of a SUV with a child inside, officers shot him multiple times.
Police then proceeded to cuff Randant while treating his wounds. After being treated at the hospital, Randant was charged with first-degree robbery and second-degree assault.
The incident was also caught on multiple cell phone cameras, as well as surveillance video from the gas station. All of the footage comes from the Spokane PD's news conference about the incident that occurred earlier today.
