Astrakhan. The conflict allegedly began due to the fact that the young ladies asked to remove the gentlemen's legs from the table.

Today's official reaction:

"The officers of the criminal investigation department identified and detained a 26-year-old resident of the Republic of Dagestan, who, on November 16, 2021, committed hooligan actions using violence against visitors to a catering establishment in the Leninsky district of the regional center.

On this fact, the department of inquiry of the district police opened a criminal case under paragraph "a" of Part 1 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Hooliganism).

The police interviewed eyewitnesses and seized the recordings from CCTV cameras, they are currently being studied. With regard to the defendant, a preventive measure was chosen in the form of detention.

The investigation of the criminal case continues. In its course, the issue of involvement in hooligan actions of other persons and bringing them to justice will be considered "(c) Russian MIA Administration for the Astrakhan Region.
